I read where someone (probably ArsMachina, I guess) swapped their Gladius's emitter to a higher bin and reflector to a McR27 or something.
I, personally, myself, wouldn't chance it. I already love my Gladius, and it's my second-most expensive light. Even though I don't predict any failures in the future, I don't want to void its warranty.
