I'm interested to know the process for these pieces.

What was the cost?

Did you have the option to anodize your name or other symbol on the lights?

Very impressive... She's taken anodizing to another level...a true art form.

I've needed an incentive to upgrade my equipment...After seeing this I went ahead and just pulled the trigger for a new anodizer.

I won't pretend to know the exact process of how this is done, but I know that the varying voltage used is what causes the different colors and their depths. The cost...? I'd rather not speak for Leni (the artist) as I'm sure she would rather price things on a case by case basis, but I will say that everything seen anodized here cost me 80% of the original sale price of my Ti-PD. I told here what I liked, but pretty much gave her free will to do what she wanted to the lights. I know she can do symbols and I've seen text on some of her bike frames (which make me want to upgrade from an Al to Ti frame). I would highly recommend giving her a call. She is very helpful and a joy to speak to.

Thanks for all of the compliments guys. I half thought I'd get a few people that would feel I commited the ultimate sin. :xyxgun::whoopin::eeksign:

Looks very impressive... I must tell you I tried this "mod" with Coke and a PSU on my Ti Bezel, no luck...

Thanks for providing the link, and I might contact Leny to do the job !!!

EDIT: I don't wanna hijack your thread, but I just had to post this image:
It's from Leni's list of samples. I don't have a Ti light(yet).
So who's next in line ? Cheers ! :grin2:

Sample called "splatter".

Hmmm, I may have to give that a try on some of my 'spare' bezels. I'll try it using my 30V 30A PS and JOLT cola.

Anodizing Ti requires a DC power supply that provides 0-150V and up to 10A. Most flashlight parts will require less amperage than that. Such power supplies don't come cheaply, btw.

Your 30V setup won't get you into the full spectrum of available colors.

Here is the range by voltage:

Once I get my new power supply wired up, I'll be ready to make some samples.

Can't wait to try splash Ti anodizing.
