What can I do with StreamLight Twin Task?

I have 2 StreamLight Twin Tasks:

1) 2D TwinTask, Xenon bulb and 10 5mm LEDS

2) 3AA TwinTask, Xenon bulb and 3 5mm LEDs

Is there any way I can easily modify them and stick some other LED in there, preferably a 1W or 3W?

first of all you can put nichia U ranks for double the led output

for the incad part i think is difficult to replace with a led, but if you like in the 3AA you can use the strion or TT3C bulb for higher output, in the 2D you need to modify also the battery pack if you want more power

you could always sell it or find a friend you can convert and let them see the light
