Flashlights helping out parents.

Ok here it is. My son (10) and I go out on "Flashlight night". We go to a local park that has a good bit of animals - deer, racoon and an occasional fox. We usually take a good path light (flood) like the Inova Radiant 2xAAA and a couple of lights with throw. We look at the lunar calendar. The less lunar light the better. We have been doing this for about two years now. At my office I realated this to my fellow co-workers. This has turned out to be a really nice event for divoced dad/kids. Afterwards we go out for dessert/hot chocolate/coffee and some tallk. We even got some Moms involed. So far I have converted a few non believers into flashaholics. Flashlights can bring people together. Where there is light, there is fun!

Wow that sounds like a really great time. Still married but I'm thinking about trying this with my kids.
