Compare Huntlight FT-01 and FT2-0X

hi there, i have an FT2-0X i really like the brightness, now before i order again. is the FT-01 is really much brighter than FT2-0X?

It's not night and day, but there is a noticable difference between the output of the FT-01 and FT02X. The FT-01 is slightly brighter.

@Tiger- Thanks! in that case i will not get the FT-01. maybe the next gen of FT-01 will do..

Per my own tests in my home built integrating sphere the FT-01 is right around 50% brighter. It wasn't the hard anodized X model I tested, but unless they use different LED's the brightness should be the same between the two different FT-02 models.

Huntlight FT02 - Sanyo CR123a: 594 - (estimated 42.43 lumens)

Huntlight FT01 - Panasonic CR123a: 897 - (estimated 64.07 lumens)

I have no info on when the HA model will be released.

Where did you get it? I couldn't find it at a couple Huntlight's North American dealers. More, there's no mention about this model in Huntlight's own website too.

Nope, I didn't order any FT-01. "Tachyon" ordered it, I was just enquiring from him whether it's the new HA-III version or not.

I'm also looking forward to the HAIII version, pal!

Tachyon, oh Tachyon, where did you order the UX1J from? And what does the XSE designation stand for?
