Hey everyone, I know Im probably going to get yelled at for this, But if tried to search. and cant figure it out. I Currently own two Surefires. An A2, and a 6P. Is there any rechargable cells that can work in both? I read somewhere (now I cant find it) that the A2 walls are too small to accomodate rechargable cells. I work in a machine shop and have no problem milling out the body. Any help, Or links to threads would be great!!

Lets see... I own a surefire 6P but no A2 so I can't comment on the A2.

What you can do to your 6P is use 2 PROTECTED R123 batteries (I'm not to sure what are the best ones out there) and a P90 lamp assembly. The 2 rechargeable batteries will fry the regular P60 or P61 lamp assemblies so you gotta buy the 9V P90 lamp assembly.

Here's the link for the 6P rechargeable thread:

BTW, I seached using "6p*" and "rechargeable" (without the quotes), and it came right up. For searches on terms less than 3 characters, you need the * ... hence the 6p*.

For the A2, try this thread:
