Yea just flipped on CNN and there it is...sounds more like pilot or plane trouble.

Reports say the plane was registered under Yankee Pitcher Cory Lidle. Unconfirmed but said(and also dismissed by others) is that he was the pilot of the plane.

ESPN is reporting that Lidle was among the four dead in the crash.

Scary stuff. We could see the smoke from the west side. Helicopters are always in that area, but I can't imagine what a fixed wing plane was doing over there.

that's really too bad, makes the yankee haters think twice about trashing the yankee season! i've been to the game where he first pitched as a yankee!
