redneck lights LED

got to thinking how much could i get away with making a light bar of LEDs
could i power like 10 or more 3w ers or something and set them up with a little throw but more flood as i just need to see deer before they hit my truck
also i dont realy want the super big reflectors and i know thats where the throw is but after seein how much reach some leds are getting
could it be worth a shot
i also have to make moving covers as PA law said somthing about having to be covered at all times
well i dont get out the truck every night to take them off for the 1/2 mile drive way drive
so any thoughts on this would be welcomed

No problem. Just get a current regulator to protect them from the wilds of your trucks electrical system.

I think if they are below the top of the hood they can be uncovered. Up on the roof needs covers on public roads.

i have a light bar now i just dont like the 2 big dumb lights they work well but hey there about 2x the size i want and making moving covers will be easer on a smaller light set
