Brinkmann Maxfire Xenon and 3 Watt LED

Can you guys tell me how they compare? Info like output, throw, size, runtime, quality, etc. Does the Maxfire use a replacement bulb or lamp assembly? Thanks.

Um, are you referring to the LED 3 Watt? In that case it doesn't have a bulb.

Yes, I realize that the 3 Watt LED does not need use a bulb, I was referring to the Maxfire Xenon model.

as a matter of fact i don't even think it has a 3 watt i believe it is only rated a 1 watt. But then again i have been wrong before

There is a 3 watt Brinkmann LED as well. It's about ten bucks more than the 1 watt at Target.

To the threadstarter, you might be able to find this info out on flashlightreviews.com


I don't really recommend lights above 1 watt that use 3 AAA batteries though.

I don't even like the 1 watters that do.


Triple A batteries are a poor source of energy for higher powered LED's.

Anybody else? Does Brinkmann use glass or plastic lenses on these models?
