:) A vintage light has arrived ,now to get it working! I put in a new bulb to see if it work, and it did!:) Its a 40s vintage Ray o vac bullet light. So I polished it up and dropped in a Mag 2 cell led. Cool it works really well.Very bright center spot with a huge spill,I took the dog for a 30 min walk ,it performed great. It has a momentary button and slide the switch up for always on.Hows that for old technology!

It even had the origanal cardboard insert it is in good shap except for the reflector,Anyone got a spare in good shape? Can it be painted chrome, any ideas?

Pic:) s to follow~

Re: New light waiting at home!!

Heres what it looked like when it arrived,it does not llok like this now!:)
Its much better! Ill post tonight.

It now has a mag led drop in and is polished.Im thinking of mod a mag 6AA to D with a Wa 1274 bulb! 500 lumens would be nice.

Yes I did for a $1.99! of course I put an 18 dollar bulb in it!

Its got a real bright hotspot and huge spill,I like the momentary on button and slide the button forward for on.I think some new companies could learn from the past!:)
