I tested my new TM-301X-5 with V3.6 880mah, in just a minute the light is so hot. it will fry the circuit or its just a normal?

im impressed with this light. just like my surefire L4

Are you using 2x RCR123? that'll kill your light pretty quickly...

yes, i removed it quickly after a minute. any recommendations on rechargeables that is bright than primary 123A

hmm... i thought 2xr123s were ok for this light. I dont think it'll be a problem, but wait for someone to back me up on this before trying it again.

big difference using primary vs. V3.6 the flood is awesome. just my concern is gets hot quickly. but i found this thread posted by randy shackleford

alright, i did take the risk. thought the light quickly hot on the 1st minute. keep on runnin, nothin happens. im sticking @ V3.6 2xR123. monster flood!!!!!

i really like this light
