Has anybody used a Blackburn System X3?

I'm currently using a UK 4AA eLed as a bike light and it's ok, but not quite bright enough (I do like it very much as a general purpose flashlight, however). So I've been looking around for a new bike light and yesterday I happened to find a Blackburn System X3 in a local store. It seemed to be well made and their ad sounds promising, but since it only runs on a rechargeable battery pack (which is much bigger than it looks like in the pictures) and the store didn't have it charged up, I couldn't try it out yet. So I figured I'd ask here if anybody has used one? What kind of beam does it have? The reflector didn't look very deep so I'm hoping it has a good flood.
