This is my long awaited light with variable brightness and constant current regulation in a semi-small package.

The size is small, light and with just enough runtime for the everyday back yard racoon chase or midnight milk run.

As a "queen" she does require HIGH amount of maintenance. The body was turned and sanded (1000 grit). I stopped short of wet sanding and polishing. I did not want it to be too shinny since it's gonna take alot of everyday abuse.

I want to thank the following members who helped out.
Icarus for the inspiration, this one is for you my friend hope you get better soon so I don't have to bear the burden.
Georges80 for the awsome driver.
dat2zip for the perfect Luxeon (UY0Js).
KIU for the bezel ring (been sitting in my box for almost a year).
Sway for showing us all how to do momentary MagC switch.
AND everyone for looking.

I got to hold this light and it is awsome! Beautiful light even if it is unfinished. So when is it going for sale? <grin>

So do you really even have racoons is your backyard? I have seen your backyard. And the racoon is going to get away! You may not know what light to go get to see what is in your backyard! <grin> That and any light you own, will cover most of your backyard!

Thanx guys for the comments.

glockboy: The king ... is no where to be found ... knowing these days they might have a partial separation.

Changchung: I think taskled.com got couple MaxFlex left if you hurry.

Weylan: They normally goes into the left over that my parent put in the ground as fertilizer. You see the both of plantless dirt in front of the slide, that was partially caused by them.

terrific job -

question - did that start out as a silver maglite? The reason I ask - there is some knurling on the body. tailpiece and head. Is that left in the original anodizing, ?
