Now, does the HD45 use standard Aleph parts? Tail's for instance? Could I use a CR2 body if I wanted to :>? All E compatible?

No SIR, HD45 is a stand-alone light using the McR-45 and it is a straight forward, rugged light with regulated high and low mode.

Not compatible with Aleph Series or Surefire "E"
