Dismantling Inova X5

I'm looking to do some modifications on my Inova X5. Does anyone know how the aperature comes off? I assume its a press fit, but there should also be a seal to be broken. Has anyone accomplished this?

IIRC the Freez-pop method will work great. So a search for it and youll fins lots of info.
