Surefire L4 (DOA)

I just receive my Surefire L4 this morning. Its Dead On Arrival. When I opened the package the tailcap is in lockout position, so I tightened it. Clicking tailcap nothing happens.. and also i observe that the tailcap when clicking sometimes get stocked. And most of all the body getting warm without clicking when tailcap is tight. What will I do?? i dont see any phone numbers on lighthound website.

Have you tried new batterires?

Body getting warm sounds like the batteries are shorting out. Take the light apart and make sure there's no flashing left over from machining. Replace the batteries. If it still doesn't light up, remove the batteries and get the light replaced.

i did test those bonus battery came in the package. yes i will return this today, going to post office now..
