Free Backup Software

Acronis is offering a free copy of TrueImage7, their backup software for XP. This is not the current version, but it works fine. If you're not using something like this to backup your system, I hope there's nothing important that you need on it because some day it will crash.

After you register, go to the Acronis site and login to your account. Then go to "Registered products", click TI 7 link, and there is a link which should take you to a downloadable installer. This is a great product and a great deal.

Thanks for the link. I use Norton Ghost but it's nice to have a good backup program like TrueImage7 in my software storage archives.

We used to use Ghost and are now using Acronis instead at work. Works fine and seems to be faster on restore than Ghost.
