SF G2 + G&P 3W + B65 Battery?

Is there any reason that the G2 with the KR1 kit (body extension and a B65 batt) wouldn't work with a G&P 3W led drop-in (aside from the adaptor ring to make contact)? Drain from the LED module messing up the battery? Anything like that? I know that the B65 has contacts at either end that resemble positive contacts, thus could potentially defeat the polarity protection plate.

Also, is there a replacement for the adaptor ring that makes a G&P led module make contact with the inside barrel in a G2? I didn't think to get one from lighthound when I ordered.

You might try some aluminium foil to make contact.
The B65 seems to work fine for me to light up the drop in.
I have not noticed it hurting the cells.
