thought some people might care to know - my wiseled tactical just turned off. it went 6.5 hours (from 12:04pm - 6:34pm) on the lowest setting (well, i think it's the lowest; impossible to really know because of the lame interface).
sorry i don't have any equipment to actually do a runtime graph or anything, but it appeared to me to be the same brightness throughout the whole run. immediately after it went out, i plugged in the charger and turned it back on - looked the same brightness to my eyes.
