Streamlight Stinger Bulb Upgrade

I have searched the threads here and it is almost overwhelming how much information there is on Streamlight Stinger modifications. So much so that it will help me narrow down my specific question pretty well, I hope. I want to upgrade the bulb on a Streamlight Stinger, BUT I want to use the stock battery stick and charger. Are there any bi-pin bulbs that I can buy that will be brighter than the stock bulb that won't melt the lens or reflector? I understand that if such bulbs exist that I will have shorter run time and that is certainly fine.
