Just bought the following as a quick solution for my U2 for use in the hunting field :

They have various sizes for the light emitting end and the set I have also includes other lens colours such as red, blue, green, orange & clear.
They won't be good enough for a unit that produces a lot of heat but they seem to work well on the U2 so long as you dont leave it on max for a long time. The shroud is rubber so you can stretch fit it over allowing for a degree of error.
If you leave one of the paper protectors on the clear lens, it makes a great frosted lens so you get a very even pool of local light output.
Probably not a new trick but worth a look if you have a low heat application and want to keep quarry confused or when they get used to a certain colour as being associated with danger.
