I'm trying to backlight a 7" by 7" acrylic square with two Luxeon white 1 watt batwing stars.
I've been trying to eliminate the 2 visible "hot spots" and have tried everything from mounting the leds so they project backwards/sideways....you name it.
I want a diffused wide angle pattern.
First of all, how well do the Fraen lenses work?
Are there any DIY materials in sheet form that the forum has suggested?
