I'm sure this has been asked and answered somewhere on here but I can't find it so I'll ask anyway.

How does the ring that holds the led come out?
Is it threaded? I've tried to turn it using a pair of pliers int the two little indentions but it doesn't want to move at all.

It has loctite on it. You should be able to use a little heat to break down the loctite and then try to remove it again.

It's threaded but it's also got a touch of glue in it. Try heating it up with a hair dryer (with the battery removed) and give it another try with the pliers. Once the glue has been cracked, the ring moves easily. Good luck!

Even after five minutes with a hairdryer, it still won't budge.
It feels as if the plastic is going to break if I try to turn it any harder. :awman:

Yeah, that Loctite is a b!atch. You gotta get it really hot. Take it apart as much as you can, TAKE THE BATTERY OUT, put it in a ziplock bag, and let it sit in scalding hot water for about 5-10 minutes. Actually, I couldn't even get the bezel off on mine without doing this, so you're already halfway there!
