I'm just wondering about this ballast, tons of power for cheap. Is the drawback that it's no different than a PC power supply, eg. fixed voltage? Not current regulated like the Xitanium drivers?

Or is this thing just as trustworthy and I should get one instead of a Xitanium?

They don't give any example setups...

That's just a 12V 5A power supply, intended for LED module meant to be driven on constant voltage. If you hook that up to a Luxeon, it will go :poof:

so fast.

Advance/Philips makes one like that too, as well as current regulated type.
