These 2D M*gs are quad bored to accept either 2x18mm accross (total of 4x18500) or 4AA of any brand or size for total of 8AA.
Head is finned for maximum heat dissipate and body is grooved for better look and grip. Tail cap also deep machined to use maximum room for batteries. Completly stripped, highly polished and Hard Anodized type III red color.
Everything else is stock and you can make your own project.
No batteries or battery holder come with flashlight.
Price $100 each

Postwoman is at the door. I think to myself: "Great! My FM 2D Red HAIII is here." My hopes fade when I see the size of the box. "No way there's a 2D M@g in that box." But then I see the return address is indeed FiveMega's, my next thought is: "That crafty guy must have seperated the head and body."



And what a beautiful light it is! Now I have wait for the 18500 cells. Unprotected 18650 cells almost fit, but are about a milimeter too long . I would either have to shorten the threaded end of the tailcap or find something to fill the gap where there the tailcap almost seats with the body. Darn, would love to have that 4800mah capacity vs. 2900mah, a 65% increase.

FM - My package arrived today. I was not expecting the 2D to come from that little box, but like ELM I spotted that return address and knew it was going to be a good day. The light looks great! Thanks. Kirk
