I got mine from Target for $30. It basically has the same beam and brightness as the SL PP Lux 4aa, but in a smaller package. The tradeoff is no regulation and shorter runtime. I use 1000mAh Sanyos in mine so regulation isn't a big concern. The glass lens and clickie switch are nice touches. I think it is a great light.

I agree wholeheartedly. Great throw from such a small package. I like how the spill is very even in output right up to the edge. That said I question its modability as far as heat issues are concerned. But who knows the cree might be a good candidate for this light with its lower heat output.
