How do you remove Aleph LE's?

I just got a couple of Aleph's, and not seeing how to remove the LE, I know it screws in... but do I just take a small vice grip to it, and rotate?

Screws in, screws out. Usually I do it by pushing the pad of my thumb against the back of the LE, and twisting the head.
Pliers work if it's too hard to do by hand, but tape or pad them-the LE gets gouged up easily.

I got plenty of scratched up LE's! Be careful, just grab the lip with needle nose pliers and lefty loosy.....

I always just put a piece of tape on it and twist it out.
