Internet slowdown?

Is anyone else having problems accessing sites this afternoon? Heck it took over twenty seconds just to get in here.

I can't reach my site, nor can I reach FF.com, CPFU, and a couple of others. Could someone tell me if they are able to access these sites?

Maybe it's on my end, but it feels like a network DNS problem.

Firefox is reaaaaaaaaaally slow for me. I just switched to explorer and will try rebooting. Something is up.

It seems to be a major DNS problem on all DNS servers as far as I can tell. If it was only some, or if there was even one working, it would be reassurring.

Can anyone reach CPFU or MH's site? Even just one person?

The UG is toast.
CPF is slow.
EDCF is zooming along.
Google/Gmail zooming along.
That's the usual suspects for me at this time.

Nevermind, I just got into CPFU. I guess my thoughts of TEOTWAWKI was premature.

Ok, things must be resolving on this. I can now reach my sites as well as CPFU and my email account.

And now FF is back also. I guess we're getting back to normal.

Thanks for the input guys...when this sort of thing happens, I'm always afraid I'll get blamed for breaking all the tubes on the internets.

FWIW, if you think there is a problem with DNS, try accessing stuff via IP.

Put 69.90.35.64 in your web browser to test DNS for CPF

Very good point. After about ten minutes of frantically trying to get to FN, I realized I didn't have the numeric address written down anywhere.
