Unable to locate a direct statement on this subject, although many data sheets are available for comparison.
Several statements have been made on this forum about the ability of the Cree XR-E to squash the Lux I, III, V, K2, ad nauseum.
I acknowledge it's a lot to ask, but I know there are many people spending many hours comparing each product and each permutation of components available. If you have a strong setup, please share...

~ What are the specific pros / cons when considering the current and soon-to-be-released offerings from Cree and from Lumileds?
~ In what applications are any of the above products the best application?
~ What are the optimal drivers, optics, etc. for using each emitter or star?
