well, my pm6 2390 with 3.7v r123s has really low runtime... but instead of dying out... lights up really dim. Then, when i check the batteries, one is full, and the other is dead... why? is it bad for the batts?

Hello David,

I am not sure of your question...

If you run a light with one battery dead and the other charged, it may light up dimly.

It is not advisable to run cells that are mismatched like that.

If you are starting off with both cells fully charged, and after a short time one cell has died, then you have a capacity mismatch. The cell that dies may no longer be good.

i run it on 2 r123s... and within maybe 15 minutes, the light pretty much dies out, but when i check the batts, one lights up my kl1 at full brightess, and the other doesnt light it at all.... why dont both batts die out instead of one? and is it bad for the battery that loses its charge?
