Klaus\' Twins Thriving

Everyone:

Please join in wishing and willing that Klaus's family -- two more today than yesterday -- thrives in good health.

Klaus' twins were born 10 weeks prematurely. My prayers are focused on supporting the efforts that the dedicated medical staff attending the twins during the next two months to effectively overcome any challenges that may present themselves.

We have one set of twins who are 18 years old now. They were each 3Lbs 4Oz. At 9 weeks early they were in the neo-natal ICU for 8 weeks and in and out for a while w/ breathing problems and one is hydrocephalic with a shunt that keeps things working. Both are doing well now, though one is somewhat behind in school.
Klaus if you have any questions please write. We'll be praying for you and the new ones.

Oh guys - thanks for the wishes

All three are doing well - the two boys, David and Marvin @ 1550 and 1330 grams are doing OK given the age and such - Marianne is doing Ok too.

thanks for the photos - they are so cute, tiny humans like that. And with all the support gear they have around them, you can say that they are in good hands and safely monitored.

2 of my 4 children were preemies at 5 and 6 weeks early. They are both doing great.

Looking at those pictures is a cool reminder of when even the smallest diapers were too big for them. They do grow up quick.
