MilkyL1-Cree.jpg

The pics above show the first and only (right now :naughty: anyway) Milky L1 - Cree (P2). For more information about the Milky L1 please see this reference thread:

https://www.candlepowerforums.com/threads/136976&highlight=Milky

or

https://www.candlepowerforums.com/threads/137840&highlight=Milky

I am offering the head only in this sale. The head is in perfect condition and is exactly as received from Milky himself. The light uses a cut down and modified McR19 reflector (7mm, 9/32) and a Cree P2 emitter.

The beam profile is similar to my other Milky L1s, but this one has a bigger hotspot and more sidespill. The tint is on the warm side. The output is about the same, slightly more than the other ML1s. The beam profile is additionally cleaned up with a bit of Write-Rite (LDF)!

ASKING $110 dollars, Shipped CONUS. International buyers please add $5

****SOLD****

AGAIN THIS IS FOR THE HEAD ONLY, NOT THE COMPLETE LIGHT!!!

Msax,

Do you have any beamshots? What is the runtime like vs. ML1? What bin?

Great light Msax!!!

Re: F/S: The First and Only Milky L1 - CREE!!!

Chronos,

Sorry I just suck at taking beamshots, so I don't have any available. I am going to get some lessons in about a week from now at Photon Fest 7. But till then you guys will have to go with my description above. I can say its very similar in out put to my other white Milky L1, but the hotspot is bigger and it has more sidespill. The overall output is probably pretty close to the same. My other Milky L1 is a bit cooler in tint which is what I prefer.

The runtime should be the same if not a bit better due to the lower Vf.

Milky only told me that the Bin is a P2. I don't know much more than that. I'll send him a PM and ask him for more details.

Hey Ray,

The film is Write-Rite. Its a LDF (light diffusing film) to smooth the beam out. It is not needed but does clean the beam up a bit. Its very similar to a normal Milky L1, but it has the beam profile more like a Lux V. So it has a defined hot spot, but the hot spot is bigger and slightly brighter sidespill.

PS - Nice avitar! :naughty:
