Just to let you know that after your recommendations, i finally bought my M3!!

WOW!!!!! so far i am very impressed by the output of this flashlight!

I just cant wait to try it in the deep woods.

Glad you like it. The beam is rather football shaped, but if you hold the wide part of the beam hoizontal to the ground, you will get a very nice field of view. Enjoy! :)

Congratulations. I think that you will love the M3. It has tremendous output, is not ugly (like my wife says) it is tremendous looking and it is very adaptable to many different situations especially with a turbohead.

Don't forget that you can run it off of 2 x 17500 rechargeables. The output is a little less, but the lumens are guilt free.

It really is too bad, though, that you picked it up right before Surefire released the fully regulated version; you can read about it here.

Actually there is a regulated version. It's called the KL6 :lolsign:

Seriously, the KL6 is the LED head version for the M3 body. With the stock LED, it's good for about 100 lumen. You can get about 150 lumen with a bit of work also.
