Exploding flashlight batteries shut down LAX

I'm surprised this hasn't been posted yet, but I just heard it on the news.

Apparently Los Angeles International Airport was shut down for some time on Saturday, in part due to batteries in a flashlight exploding while the bag was being inspected:

I hope this doesn't have any ramifications to bringing flashlights with batteries on flights. This bag had been checked and was being inspected by TSA.

I guess we'll have to find out which C sized batteries have an inherent tendency to blow up plastic flashlights :D
