Surefire L2 Tint

I just got an Surefire L2. On hight it is nice white, on low it is noticable a bit greenish. I know that because similar lumen of L1P from Fenix, the light is the same white as my L2 on High. The greenish light does look
so.....comfortable. When you see the items in the room, the items color change, look a bit...bla

Should I sent the L2 to be re-adjusted? Or it is the characteristic of the L2 on low?

Have you notice the same issue on your L2?

I have an L2 which does the same thing. The LuxV under driven seems to do this naturally.

That's right, Luxeon LEDs experience a shift in tint when under (or over) driven.

Mine is the same. I think the underdriven LED tint is normal.

The tint can vary from green, but it is almost always tinted in some way when on low...

My first L2 was like that - and it had a perfect beam shape, unusual for the 5 watt LEDs. But since I use the low 95% of the time, the green got to me. I returned it to SureFire and they replaced it. The low and high are now pretty white - but there is a doughnut hole. I prefer the second incarnation.
