In terms of brightness and total light output how do the three commonly available stingers compare to theP60, p61, p90, p91 la's from surefire...
Does any body know... since they are rated so differently CP vs lumens it is hard for me to gauge.

To be fair, you'd better compare the HP and US to SureFire TurboHead models.

I read somewhere that the M3T was brighter then the UltraStinger.

Someone must be able to do side-by-side comparisions?!

How about an US vs. 9PT? or P61? I can do a few comparisons with P60, 61, P90, 91, 9PT, with Us, Stinger HP and Stinger?

Gimmie a few days...

Yes, that's good info to have.

Some one must have access to both an UltraStinger and 9AN-KT ??!!

The closest a reasonable like-for-like there is I suppose?

The HP and the 8AX-KT would be another good comparision to have...

IMHO, the 9PT with the N2 lamp is very close to the US. US may be slightly tighter, same brightness. TX

There should be no fear of thermal shutdown @ 105 lumens. Got to get closer to 500. TX

I have run the N2 lamps continously for hour after hour after hour. I have never experienced a "Thermal Shutdown" with the N2.

Under certain conditions, any SureFire Lithium light will suffer from over-heating.

I've only ever experienced a thermal shutdown with the N62 lamp in the 12PM.
