What to do with HID bulb and ballast?

I have a guy I work with right now who used to design tool and die for lexus, ford, and some chevy headlights. They were a contract company, but he has several bulb and ballast sets that he has offered me for free.... One is from a lincoln navigator and the others he is not sure what are from as they were given to him when he left that company to come to the company we both work for now.

Is there anything that can be done with these?? I have never messed with HID in the past...

Post some pictures. We'd need to get some perspective on the size of the ballast & the type of bulb (i.e. H4)

When I get them, I will post a picture. I am just hoping that the ballast sets are right for the bulbs I receive. These have been sitting for about 5 years in a box according to my friend.

I have no experience building HIDS as of yet though. I do however have extensive knowledge of handling Hi Power capacitors from my days of doing custom car stereos so hopefully I will not get zapped!!!
