Where would I get a meter to measure light output?

Also, how about a tutorial (or link to a thread) about the difference between Lux and Lumens.

Also also, has anyone used those battery testers that LightHound sells? I'm wondering if they are worth the investment.

Thanks!

well there are many light meters out there that will measure lux, to measure lumens the official tool is an integrating sphere which cost quite a few pennies. There are some members here who have put together "light boxes" that come quite close to measuring true lumen output. As for the difference between lumen and lux, lsee this site for a decent overview:

What's the cheapest way to do a runtime test if you have a DMM and don't mind being without a data logger?
