-Custom Pewter Mag
-Finned Head & Body
-Custom made 1+" solid heastink
-FiveMega Premium battery Holder
-MaxFlex driver
-UCL Lens
-Tailswitch
-Medium Stipple Reflector

This is the brightest LED light I have built to date!

This light is using the MaxFlex driver. If your unaware of it there where some issues with these drivers. In this particular light the driver is working perfectly fine at regulating 700ma to the LED. The only problem is there is only 3 levels of brightness instead of 5.

Re: 10w Ostar Powered Mag

Is there any loss of light with that large hole in the reflector?

No clue but I would assume there possibly would be. In order for the Osram LED to focus with the Mag reflector that is what has to be done.

Runtimes? outputs?

If runtimes are decent, I can see myself springing for one...

I'm assuming NiMH, what about LiOn?
(Specifically, AW's batts...)

The light is powered via AW's 3X17670 Cells in a FiveMega Premium holder.

The VF of the LED is 13v at 700ma. On max brightness the light draws .800-.850ma. You talking 1.5+ hours of light on Max.

I just finished the First Kel-Lite HID mod. I will comapre the 2 :) But this is the 10watt version which is around 280-330 Lumens. The HID is rated for 500+ lumens.

Does that include the tri and quad Mags?

I had a UWOK Tri-LED with smooth reflectors and it was close but the Osram slightly pulled ahead. If we could get a Smooth reflector to focus the Ostar it would be incredible.

One correction to my initial post.

The MaxFlex in this light works fine. One a fresh set of battery's 12.6v you only have 3 levels as the LED VF is 13v. After about 10 minutes of use and the battery voltage drops to under 12v all 5 levels are available.
