AW 17500's best choice for Falcata 9v?

I am planning to buy a Night Ops Falcata 9v in a couple of days to replace my tl3. I wanted something with a smaller head (diam) and a little more sidespill. I use 17500's now(protected), is that still the best choice for the night ops?

Thanks for your help...the 17500's I found about at cpf have allready saved me over $100.00

I'm afraid 17500's will not fit inside a Falcata, at least they dont in mine.

I'm planning to bore it out a little to fit them in but have never done it before so need to do a bit of research.

I just have my old SF 6P bored to accomodate an 18650, no problem, just enough "flesh" there.
Think of using 18500 instead of the 17500.
using 2 17500 or 3 cr123 Li-Ion is about to no difference, no need to ruin a light for (if it gets ruined while boring)

PS: sorry, You already have the batts, got that wrong. Then ... (?)

THANK YOU!!! bagman and yellow. I have grown far to accustomed to free lumans to start paying again. I would have been so hacked to buy the light and not have it use rechargables. Back to the hunt for the next light...

yellow, art 1800's narrower than 17500s (which I allready own)?

Brad - no, the 18 refers to the diameter in mm so they are bigger I'm afriad.

Thanks again so much for your help. I also looked at the pentagon light and they do not work with 17500's either...I am just so mad that I think I will have to buy a Pila g4 with the 550 lamp just to make myself happy again....oh well!
