Howdy all,
I have twenty Sanyo CP-1300SCR nickel-cadmium rechargeable cells for sale. They are 1/2 Sub-C size. In this size, Nickel-Metal Hydride cells are not available, thus my choice of Ni-Cds. I bought them for a hotwire project that has been changed. I was going to make sticks of five to use in a 2C Mag-Lite. This configuration will fit in the 2C with a bored tailcap, and creates a 6V high-current capable pack, ideal for use with the Osram 64275 AX axial-filament 35-watt halogen bulb.
These cells were each carefully cycled a few times with my Triton charger/analyzer, and discharge capacity to .9V at 3A was measured and marked on each cell. All 20 were within a VERY small range, a bit above 1100mAH. These seem to be great quality cells, and can supposedly withstand a 15-20A discharge rate.
