Hi,

You will have to bear with me on anything technical as I dont really know much about torches. :)

I'm looking for a torch that easily shows paint defects on cars.

When I say paint defect I mean the swirl marks you can usually see in direct sunlight such as this:

A lot of people usually use 500 Watt Halogen lights to show these marks but I find the best thing is the bright white lights on pertol station forecourts!

I have a 3 D cell maglite with a Xeonon bulb which seems very bright but for some reason does not really show the paint faults up very well.

My question really is how does the Nuawi ALX-253L compare to the Maglite in terms of brightness and whiteness of light?

On top of that do you think this type of light will show up what Im looking for (I think it will from what I have read on car forums). Infact they usally go on about how good the Brinkmann Dual Xenon flashlite is but I think that is just the same as my Xenon bulbed Maglite

Many thanks in advance!!

Sorry, just to add to this, how would the Nuwai 5 Watt compare to a TerraLUX MaxStar3 in my 3 cell Maglite?

Thanks again
