Just got back from an Acapulco trip, FF3 with me as always. I hopped in the very large and long pool late night and was swimming around turning the FF3 on and off underwater as I swam around for 30 minutes. I know it's a little more dangerous to turn it on and off underwater, as compared to turning it on then dunking it. Either way, worked fine, but when I got down and dried off, it was a little more difficult to turn on and off an wasn't as smooth as normal. But it did stay dry inside, I imagine some of the lube wore off the threads and o-ring, especially with the chlorine. I got home, cleaned out the light, re-lubed the threads & o-ring and back to normal.

For those of you waiting, it is a great light, my favorite so far and has 6 months in my pocket.
