I had thought about starting a thread like this several times considering that Cars are my #1 hobby. What do you drive? Want to talk about your car? Go here but please post what you drive here...

What do I drive? I don't own a car but the cars in my household...all of which I drive are:

Green 1993 Chrysler Town & Country--"Tom Cruise"
Red 1992 Oldsmobile 88 Royale--"Lucille"
Grey 1997 Nissan Sentra GXE--"Miss Daisy"

I drive a 2000 Electric Mobility R245 and an R255.
3-wheeled electric scooter and 4-wheeled chair, respectively. They're my sole source of transportation. This is actually one drive module with two seperate, interchangeable front ends. So if the drive system breaks, I lose both units and have to switch to my spare, an almost-dead 1996 Electric Mobility #205 one-piece three wheeler.

Last time I actually drove a CAR was back in 1989, when I had a 1970 Ford Maverick. 6-banger, 120 ponys under the hood, burned a quart of oil a week, missing the right rear quarterpanel, rust/poop brown in color.
And someone actually stole it.

It was later found near the Washington/Oregon border, but I couldn't come up with the $85 impound fee so I ended up losing it. I still remember both plate numbers it had: OMR-992 when I first got it, and AXS-113 when I got the newer style Washington plates for it about a year later.

LOCO is more like it.
1985 Fischer Montare Mountain Bike
1997 GM EV1
2001 Honda Civic EX
2002 Rav4EV - coming soon

But then, you already knew that.

Craig - my first car was a six-banger BLUE 1970 Maverick. That was about the least amount of power I've experienced from any six cylinder engine. Oooh, how I didn't like that car.

Me: 2001 Suburban 1500 2WD
Wife: 1994 Suburban 1500 4WD

Both have the smallest stock engine. The 2001 is a bit tricked out as it was the dealership owner's car for about 8 mos before I got it.

I even like the dealer.

Cheers,

Richard

I drive a 1999 Ford ZX2 (Escort nameplate until it was dropped in 2001) 4cyl 2.0 DOHC 5spd.

It's a fun little car sitting in the driveway w/o brakes right now.

2000 Golf GLS TDI. It has a roomy front seat, has great crash test results, averages almost 44 mpg in a city/stop-and-go commute between Seattle and Redmond and can cruise over Snoqualmie Pass at 80 mph with four people and luggage.
