anyone here uses LED lights to replace halogen MR16 halogen globes ?

I have quite a few MR16 halogen globes in my house lighting, plus quite a few in my garden lighting. I have tried out some fittings like these, but the light is quite dim compared to a halogen

I've been looking at the 3W MR16 units as well. The one you linked to wants $16 in shipping. Ouch. No experience here yet, but I'll be keeping my eyes open.
