My fiancee wants me to make a "wish list" for Christmas. If I dont tell her what I want, she'll most likley buy me clothes. :green:

I really dont want to ask for lights or knives, then she'll know how much they cost. :naughty: So if I'm not asking for lights n knives, I dont know what to ask for!

So what are some cool gadgets I could ask for, wether it be tools, electronics, you know, grown men toys!

Price range> $200-$350 total.

I need help!

If not (yet another) scanner, how about a transceiver?
Yaesu FT-60R. VX-2R, VX-6R or VX-7R.
But don't transmit without a ticket (license) - but you're getting one soon anyway (aren't you?).

I've been asking for an FT-897D (w/internal power supply) but when I say the cost (about an even K), I get "that look". I guess that I'll be using my FT-817 for another year - s'ok, that little rig is insanely great!!

Really, as long as my family is healthy and happy....that's the best gift for me.

Hi!
Why not a Fenix P1 CE with a Cree XR-1 135 Lumen, only 70$. But the disantvantage.......you have to wait for January before you get it (backorder)! But I think it is worth that.

Howabout a home coffee roaster? If you love coffee(and, what normal person doesn't?), roasting your own coffee is very cool. The beans cost half as much as the already roasted ones too.

You've got to be kidding, right? You don't drink coffee? How sad for you. :shakehead

Actually, the home roaster is a great idea for those that like coffee. I roast my own--have for ages. Makes the commercial stuff taste like what it is...

Do you drink beer? What about the equipment to brew your own? :drunk:
