LED Flash for Digital camera

I am looking for a camera flash with LED's in it. I would prefer one that is a ring with 10-12 LED's in it. I would also like the light to be able to stay on instead of just a flash. Does anybody know where I can buy one of these, or how I can build one. Pictures of home made LED camera flashes would be nice. Thanks

Wow, none of those circuits uses any kind of current regulation!

Regulation is probably not necessary -- let the camera's processor do the compensation.

I have one that was made by/sold by Nikon that I used with my CoolPix 995. Worked OK. No regulation, but you're usually only using it for a few minutes at a time. And as mentioned, the camera will adjust it's exposure as the LEDs dim a little over time.
