I'd not even heard of this kit until the recent CPF Christmas Giveaway that ksbman organized. nekomane had posted about it here and kindly donated one for the giveaway! JOshooter was fortunate that it was still available! He had his eye on it from the start and was shocked when his turn came up and it wasn't taken!

It arrived Friday and JOshooter is going to do a non-tech review with some pics as well. Thanks for the excellent links you posted!!

We were looking for more info on the Internet and could only find it on www.u-image.co.jp - We used Babel Fish Translation to translate the web pages, however some info didn't get translated.

I'll try and motivate JOshooter to give us his impressions soon! BTW - from what I saw, it's VERY NICE and WELL BUILT! I'd like to add one to my box-O-lights as well! If folks could check one out physically, I think they would sell!

Any vendors or members care to arrange a passaround? No I'm busy with too many other things at the moment (as well as keeping the McLux PD Passaround going). JOshooter is a 2nd year civil engineering student with his nose in the books indeed!! I'm sure he's not going to "release his prize" into the wild lanes of transportation for weeks/months on end! He was really excited and thankful to get this!

Thanks, Sigman. No wonder I didn't find it within the forum by the name I had.

It DOES look nice.

I was looking all around for finger lights, ended up in the militarymorons site and found this kit. Came back to the forum and was quite surprised such a system had escaped the inquisitive minds of the . . ., come to think of it, what do we call ourselves? Those in CandlePowerForums, I mean.

And, why is it that we don't see any equivalent of the "Lantern globe module" this kit includes, for SureFires and so many other lights? I think people would buy them. I would.

Check out this pictures (if you are asked, use Username: "mm" and Password: "mm"):

And just of the top of my head, one model would do for many lights, brands and models, provided the proper adaptors could be had. And it would be much cheaper than a light to produce.

Phoebus Wilderness Kit??

Has anyone used the Phoebus Wilderenss kit? I have the chance to buy just the 123A light from this kit, and wasnt sure if this light was worth it. I was also looking at a surefire E1L and a Jetbeam MK2, does anyone know how this light will compare?
