Having this 2D mag with it's poor output lying arround i wanted to do something with it, it shouldn't cost too much, and i wanted to mod it by myself. At this point i want to say respect to those who made very professional battery adaptors (fivemega, modamag, cmacclel, anyone else?).

So pics say more than thousand words, ...even the poor quality of mine should tell you enough:

The spacers are made of 5mm Plexiglas cut with a laser system (thanks to my friend Marcel for the cutting).

I'm designing a spare battery holder for home use at the moment, i'll post pics as soon as i've finished it.

Very unique.
Do those parts snap together or are they laminated first and then bolted?

They're just bolted, i wanted to make it look cleaner by polishing it using a torch. This would work, but the outside diameter is increased by doing this, and after i did it it didn't fit anymore. So i had to sand it a little until it fit again.
