Can someone give me a description of the output of the two reflectors. This would be for a 3D Maglite with a diamond led bulb. I have found them at Light Edge are there any other sources.( I tried searching but the search function is not working today)

Thanks
Alan

Stippled more flood less throw very smooth beam, orange peel more throw smoother beam than a standard mag reflector.
I love my WA 1111 with medium orange peel.

Which reflector might produce a Surefire P-60 type beam with an incan bulb?
Basically looking for lots of flood, but weighted to center for just a touch of throw.

I am trying to choose between the MOP/HOP and medium stipple/heavy stipple for use with an 8w Streamlight Litebox bulb..

I am leaning toward heavy stipple...

Heavy stipple will give you a beatiful "wall of light" like a lamp with a 100 watt bulb and no lampshade, but this is only good indoors because there is very little, if any, throw. Medium stipple may be your best bet.......very smooth beam, tons of flood but with "some" throw.

That might do it.

I don't want total flood, and prefer the hotspot transition smoothly to spill.

The medium stipple might do it!

Here are some links to reflector reviews with beamshots...

Please note that these were with Incandescent bulbs.

By you wanting to use an LED, and LED's be their nature being more floody than incan bulbs, I would think that a Smooth / Light OP / Medium OP type reflector would be the range you'd want to stay with to help retain some modicum of throw.

Happy reading!

Whoa, thanks for the links!

My searches only found one of those you posted.

"I will be using an incan, so the Med stipple or heavy stipple might be fine.
